The Environment and Social Development Organization – ESDO participated in the Environment Fair-2024, an annual event organized by the Department of Environment and the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC). The fair commenced on June 5th and concluded on June 11th, 2024. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially inaugurated the fair on World Environment Day. This year’s World Environment Day theme was “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.”

ESDO was actively involved in the Tree Fair-2024, where they set up a dedicated stall. Throughout the event, they distributed brochures detailing their projects to the visitors. The seven-day fair concluded on June 11th, 2024. At their stall, ESDO representatives shared valuable information about initiatives such as Plastic-free Campus, Zero-waste, PFAS, Lead pollution, and Mercury, educating visitors on their significance.
